On September 27, 2004, the Citigroup brand went on permanent display on Citigroup's new landmark1 property at the center of Shanghai's financial district.
花旗集团的标志从2004年9月27日起将永远高悬于上海金融中心，为花旗集团在上海新的标志性建筑谱写崭新的篇章。
Citigroup Tower will be headquarters for the financial group's Global Corporate2 and Investment Banking3 Group and Global Consumer Group businesses for the PRC. Located in Pudong Lujiazui, the financial center of China, the building is at the front of the New Pudong Bund. Citigroup expects to move to the new premises4 in mid-2005.

Citigroup Tower is a 40 storey, 100,000 sq meters International Grade A building being developed by Shanghai Bading Development Company. The building is being built to international standards set in consultation8 with Citigroup. Citigroup has a lease and development agreement with the landlord for a substantial amount of space as the anchor tenant9. Citigroup has an initial premises commitment of four office floors and the retail10 branch area, totaling 12,000 sqm and an expansion space for an additional four office floors of 10,000 sqm. The building is set for completion towards the 1st quarter of 2005.
花旗集团大厦共40层， 100,000平米。这座国际一级大厦由上海巴鼎房产进步公司开发，并按花旗集团所需要的国际标准进行建造。作为大厦固定承租方，花旗集团与土地拥有者签署了出租与开发协议。花旗集团将首期启用4层办公地区和零售银行地区，共计12,000平米，并于随后增加4层办公地区共10,000平米。花旗集团大厦预计于2005年一季度完成竣工。
